Armenian Parliament does not include issue of compliance of trilateral statement with country’s laws in agenda

Armenian Parliament has refused to include the legitimacy of the trilateral statement of leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on Nagorno Karabakh dated November 9, and its compliance with the laws of the country at the meeting held today, ONA reports citing TASS.

40 deputies have voted in favor of including the issue on the agenda, 73 - against, a decision has not been adopted.

Note that the opposition “Prosperous Armenia" faction initiated to include the issue of the legitimacy of the trilateral statement of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia, dated November 9, and its compliance with the laws of Armenia.

The ruling My Step party, which has 84 of the 132 seats in Parliament, was against it and said that Parliament does not have a right to discuss the mentioned issue.
