Armenian PM says situation with coronavirus is critical in his country

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the situation in the country's hospitals is critical, ONA reports citing news.am

N. Pashinyan on Friday at the parliament's meeting said that the decision to extend the state of emergency in Armenia for another month is due to the fact that the coronavirus pandemic is still spreading in the country.

"One hundred people are in critical condition, hospitals are overcrowded, and 204 out of 239 beds of intensive care units are occupied," he noted.

According to him, the situation remains critical.
