Baku-born Alexander Beglov elected St. Petersburg governor

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev congratulated Acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov on his victory in the election of the head of the city, ONA reports.

Earlier it was reported that Beglov leads the election of the head of the city after processing 90.11% of the protocols, gaining 64.56% of the vote.

On September 9, it became known that the acting head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and the acting governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin won in their regions after processing 100% of the vote.

Note that Alexandr Dmitrievich Beglov was born in Baku, in 1956.
