Earthquake hits Iran

A 4.9 earthquake has occurred in Khuzestan province of Iran, ONA’s Tehran bureau reports.

Epicenter of the earthquake, occurred at 08:50 p.m. on November 29, was 22 km away from Izeh of Khuzestan.

Following the earthquake, aftershocks of 3.2, 4.3, 3.7, and 2.7 magnitudes have been recorded in the region from last night until morning. 

According to the information, houses were damaged and 3 persons got injured as a result of the quake.

Emergency situation has been declared in the region. Morning lessons have been suspended at schools today.
