“The uncertainty that began with Brexit can only be eliminated with Turkey's presence in the EU family,” said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in his address to Ambassadors of EU countries to Turkey, ONA's bureau in Turkey reports.
"As Turkey, we did our part, however, we could not get a response from Europe to our proposals," Erdogan emphasized.
He has noted that Turkey is not a country that is a burden, but a country that takes a burden: “You will see this. In particular, our audacity for preventing the flow of migrants to Europe should never be forgotten. We are hosting 4 million people of Syrian origin in our country.”
