Forest fire breaks out in Georgia's Kachreti

The forest fire broke out in Kachreti, the village of Gurjaani Municipality of Georgia, ONA reports citing Georgia Today. 

The fire has spread to the part of the forest. The helicopter of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been involved in the fire fighting operation. 

What caused the fire is unknown at this time. Locals also participate in the process along with firefighters and rescuers.

Up to 20 firefighters are mobilized on the spot. In addition, fire and rescue brigades from Sighnaghi, Dedoplistskaro and Tbilisi, 6 vehicles and up to 30 firefighters are dispatched to help.
