The forest fire broke out in Sakavre village of Gori district of Georgia has been localized, ONA’s local bureau reports citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Georgia.
The Ministry said forest fires were localized as a result of extinguishing works, in which 3 helicopters of Border Police involved in early hours.
According to the information, extinguishing operations are underway in different areas.

Georgia's Emergency Situations Department conducted fire localization works during the night. Three helicopters of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Georgia have been involved in the extinguishing operations. Additionally, the number of firefighting machines reaches 14, live forces - 250 in the site.
It is stated the situation is under control at the moment.
