Kremlin refutes Armenian media: No document will be signed at Putin-Pashinyan meeting

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will discuss an issue around Nagorno-Karabakh in Moscow on July 7, said Press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov, APA reports.

Meanwhile, he noted that signing any document between the sides is not considered.

In response to a request from journalists to comment on information in the Armenian media that during the meeting the leaders would consider the variants of deployment of Russian peacekeepers to the Armenian border and sign a relevant document, the Kremlin spokesman said that this information was not true.

“Of course, the meeting will discuss Karabakh, Russian troops deployed there, as well as bilateral relations in general. However, it is not planned to sign any document,” he emphasized.
