Russian leader Vladimir Putin awarded the titles of Heroes of Russia to pilots who planted an A321 aircraft on a corn field in the Moscow region, ONA reports citing Tellerreport.
During a meeting with members of the Russian Security Council, the head of state said that he had signed a decree on awarding the crew of the aircraft, reports RIA Novosti.
“The aircraft commander and co-pilot were awarded the titles of Heroes of the Russian Federation, all other crew members were awarded the Order of Courage,” he said.
