Russian President Vladimir Putin has urged the US, Israel, and Iran to overcome their disagreements in a bid to revive the talks on Iranian nuclear programme. In his opinion, if this condition is fulfilled new talks in the 5+1 format, which last time resulted in the signing of the Iran nuclear deal, are possible, ONA reports citing Sputnik.
The future of the Iran nuclear deal, signed by the 5+1 group of countries in 2015, remains in question after the US withdrew from the accord in 2018, prompting Tehran to start backtracking on its commitments under the agreement a year later.
