Several police injured after roadside bomb explodes in Turkey's Adana

Several police were injured after an improvised explosive device (IED) planted on a road detonated in southern Turkey's Adana Wednesday, ONA reports citing Daily Sabah.

The bomb went off in Adana's Yüreğir district as a bus carrying police was passing by.

A large number of emergency services and security forces were dispatched to the scene and the injured were taken to nearby hospitals.

Exact number of casualties or injured was not immediately available.
